My 1 1/2 year old male olde english bulldog has had diarrhea going on three days now, with no known reason to me. He has not changed his diet, nor has he eaten any people food. He is strictly an indoor dog, only going outside for exercise and to go to the bathroom. As far as I know he has not come in contact with any other animals,or trash. He does not leave our yard or our site for that matter. I am wondering if perhaps an insect or possibly some other common yard critter could have made him sick. Besides the diarrhea he seems perfectly normal, just a little on the tired side. My vet is closed until Monday, this started Friday and frankly I thought that it would go away by now, but it has not yet. He is current with all his shots, and well taken care of. I am worried because he has to go to the bathroom a couple of times every hour. Any comments or help would be greatlt appreciated.
