Reply to Gina's Post: She's about 45 days into the pregnancy, and we changed her diet to puppy food a couple of weeks ago, but haven't had a problem until now. And she doesn't have an appetite right now either, I'm worried 'cause I know she should be getting lots of nutrients right now to help the puppies grow.

Don't worry too awful much...this is not uncommon. Its like her body is preparing for birth. BUT I would have a vet check a fecal sample just in case of roundworm or other intestinal parasites. Try offering her a bland diet of boiled chicken and rice with some cottage cheese mixed in. Make sure she remains hydrated. If you want to, you can add either some no/low sodium chicken broth into her water or some plain pedialyte into her water to help maintain hydration. You will want to increase her meals if possible...several smaller meals throughout the day. :) But do have the vet test a sample asap. :) Good luck
