doggie diarhhea

Dog has had diarrhea for 2 days. He ate a different brand of food on the first day and got the diarrhea. We stopped giving it to him, but now he is not active, wipping his bottom on the ground and now just started to hide out in his house. He acts likes he is in pain when he stands up. Any advice?
