we have a female dog 8 months old she just getting over being in heat we noticed 2 of her nipples have droped down doe''s this mean she is pregnant

Dogs frequently have swelling of the breasts during the heat cycle. In addition, the nipples of a dog do enlarge during their first heat cycle as well normally. Many females who are not bred during a heat cycle will experience a false pregnancy. They will sometimes have weight gain, breast development and even milk production. Some even go through false labor and "adopt" a stuffed animal or other toy baby for several weeks after they would have had puppies. What you are seeing is perfectly normal. If there is even the slight possibility she is pregnant, you will want to have her on puppy food.   You can read up on false pregnancy here:

So a little swelling of the nipples does not indicate pregnancy. If your female was ever left unsupervised with a male dog or where a male could have access to her, then pregnancy is a possibility. However, even your vet will not be able to determine if she is pregnant until about 30 days into the pregnancy. You can read more about this here:
