my dog is a 13 year old schnouser(excuse my spelling). lately she has had bad, almost "flu" like symptoms (sneezing, not eating or drinking, runny nose.) my lastest research has led me to believe this my be a tumor moving through her nasal passage. she had a bloody nose for quite some time also. Shes scared of the vets office and i dont want to get her scared at her age. what is this, what can i do to treat this, and am i going to lose my little dog? shes a huge part of our family.

I think your suspicions may be correct. She really needs to see the vet so hopefully they can diagnosis it and try to make her more comfortable if it is. It could also be something like a grass seed or blade of grass up her nose as well and you would feel terrible if that is all it were and you did not take her. Sometimes they can just flush it out if this is what it is. I would call them and see if they can prescribe a mild tranquilizer for you to pick up and give her before you come in to help her relax.
