After doing her business, my dog has a small amout of poop left on her butt. Schnauzer-Poodle. The hair is clipped short. This started about a month ago. Her food is Royal Canin Adult 27.

Any ideas? Is her food too high in fat?

It may be that her food isn't high enough in fiber for her. See if adding a spoon of canned plain pumpkin or some cooked sweet potato helps her have more formed and less soft stools.
Also check to see if her anal glands are impacted
