My dog has a wound below his right ear, I can not tell what it is from and never seen him bleeding before. When I was playing with him last night I noticed it for the first time. It was full of pus so I started cleaning it with peroxide. I also tried cutting some fur away to see how bad and what he may have done, but he is to sore. Why did I not see him bleed from this? And is there going to be problems with infection or gang green or anything? He looks alot better today but cant see it all.

What kind of dog do you have? Have you notices him scratching at all?
