I have a dog medical book to try to help me learn more ...

I have a dog medical book to try to help me learn more about my dogs health and help me when they get sick or injured. In it, it's suggested that we have an emergency kit for them that includes compressed activated charcoal in case of poisoning.   Can you tell me where I can buy it? I've looked in every pet store and drug store I can find.   Thank you.
