My dog has been shaking his head and rubbing his face on the carpet through out the house the past few days. Then last night he began heaving after my husbands vet assistant came by and said there was nothing insid the dog's ear except a few dry patches. This morning in the garage on the floor were a large dark dried puddle next to a large soft stool. Just now I let him out to go potty and again there was this really dark puddle. Last night I think he ate a snail. I plan to take him to the vet in the morning but am wondering what you think is wrong with my dog. He a silky terrier, 11 years old, about 13 lbs. He is still begging when we eat, attempting to play ball but mostly slept today. Thanks
