My Dog (Chiwawa mixed) has been making funny noises when breathing. It seems like its through his nose. It almost sounds like a hair ball might be stuck in his throat,but I don't think thats it. I was thinking it might be asthma or some type of cold. Hes been doing it for the last 3 days. I really don't have the money to take him to the vet. Is there any home remedys I could try? I heard you could give your dog Benadryl- 1mg/pound. I gave him around 4 or 5 mg. Should I continue to do this for a few days?
