Just an FYI

The lethal dose depends on the size of the dog and the type of chocolate. The killer serving is approximately one ounce of milk chocolate, one-third ounce of semisweet chocolate, or one-tenth ounce of baker's chocolate per pound of dog.

Reply to Tammy Falkner's Post: Thank you , the dogs ate more than ounces ,the dog had vomited most of the choc out and with the diarrea ,the tinfoil prob helped to vomit and i understand that if kidneys shut down not much can be done to save .They are weak but have recovered enough to go pee so maybe they will live.
Thanks to everone.

Clyde,
Sorry we didn't get right back to you...it is frustrating...but with the holidays things tend to slow down.
It sounds like your dogs did eat quite a bit, their bodies do help with the vomiting and diarrhea, and you should watch for any other signs...especially neurological like shaking.
We tend to make them vomit if they injest alot, in the future you can give them Hydrogen Peroxide to induce vomiting. The next steps are supportive care based on their signs. If vomiting and diarrhea go on for too long, dehydration becomes a factor.
If they are doing well than for now I wouldn't worry.

Again sorry for the delay in response, and I am glad your dogs are doing well.
