We just got a new male miniature dachshund and he is 6 weeks and 5 days old. He has had his first vaccine. We have been taking him into the yard of our apartment complex to use the bathroom. After studying about parvo I am worried that he might have came in contact with the virus. He has been doing really well with the potty training, and now I am hesitant to continue taking him into the yard to use the bathroom until he has had all of his shots. Is it possible that he could have parvo at this young age and what is your reccomendation for potty training in the meantime. He shows no symptoms of the disease, but I know that it could take up to 10 days to appear. We have only had him for 5 days. Please help I am really worried now!
