betsy,

If he is eating and drinking well and using the bathroom well, I don't think I would be over concerned. You could try and give him 10mg of pepcid twice a day to see if that doesn't calm down his stomach. Best of luck.

Reply to Dr. G's Post: No he is not eating well , ( he really never has been a good eater) but I tried to give him a treat and he would not take it . He had a bit of diareah yesterday but this started about 4 hours ago and if I sit with him it is a constant gurglling and swooshing sounds closer to his bowel. It is very loud. He has a free run of the back yard, and every once in a while ( earlier today) he was eating grass and then as usual vomits. Do you still think pepcid would help?

Yes,

I think the pepcid is worthwhile at this point. As far as the diet, I would try boiled chicken and rice or cooked ground beef and rice.
