I recently adopted a 12 week old SharPei Chihuahua mix puppy from a shelter. My problem is that ever since I got him home (about an hour from the adoption site) he has been throwing up. I don't know if this is due to the excitement (he traveled 2 hours to the adoption site in addition to the hour home). He appears very tired but wags his tail and raises his head when approached. All he has done is drink water (I cannot get him to eat anything). The throw up is generally clear liquid and somewhat foamy, but for a while when he wouldn't drink water it got to the point he was throwing up what appeared to be bile. I plan on taking him to the vet early tomorrow morning. Is there anything I can do in the meantime?
