I have 2 older dogs, both around 100 lbs. each. they get upset during storms. They shake and appear to get really distressed. My vet sold me Acepromazine, which seems to work well, but is very expensive. I am out of work due to a disability. my dr. has perscribed xanax for me, and I want to know if this is toxic to dogs.
