my dogs just went to the vet last wednesday for their 11 wk ...

my dogs just went to the vet last wednesday for their 11 wk check up and they took their 1st dose of heartworm meds. since then i have seen white worms moving in both of their stool. and one of them drags his bottom on the floor as thogh it is itching. what should i do. vet visits can become very expensive.

Can you describe the worms a little more? Are the worms long and fat? Or are they short like small pieces of rice? If they are long, do they look like they have segments, or are they completely smooth?

Reply to Wendy's Post: the worms are sort of long (longer than a grain of rice) they look smooth maybe almost flat.
