Great Dane runt was smaller then small?

I visited a litter of AKC great dane puppies last night, they were 10wks old all blacks w/some white except for one puppy, he was half the size of the others, looked to be about 5-6wks old, he was labeled the runt but was all grey, he didn't look like he belonged, he was happy and friendly, the others were timid. What do you think? could he have any type of health problems? the owners would not say. I've seen runts before but he was much smaller. Any advice would help? Thanks!! June

Good morning,

I need to ask you a couple of questions in order to give you an accurate answer to your question.

First - did you ask to see all testing done on the parents? OFA, CERF, etc.

Second - when you say pups are "timid" can you be more specific?

Third - is this pup all grey or does he have black speckled through his coat?

Fourth - are these puppies current on their shot schedule?
