very overweight with skin problems 8 year old Golden Retriever on soloxine for thyroid problem .o8 twice a day for 6 years. Also on Science Diet R/D < Purina L,A.> and Green Bean Diet and other low calorie foods. We walk Buddy 2 times a day and he stills ways 144lbs. I am afraid his heart is going to give out. Please advise . We lost our Golden Retriever Blazer from an enlarged heart 10 years ago but still ache with the pain of his absence. He too had a thyroid condiiton but was O.K. with 2 .06 of Soloxine twice a day and no change in his diet. Please advise
