My 3 year old spayed female Welsh Terrier has gained about 2 kg since November. She''s active, does agility a few times a week, goes for walks and exercises playing fetch every day. I feed her puppy -- my other spayed Welshie who is 1 1/2 years old the same amount of food, about 155g of Royal Canin Mini Adult, but she has not gained weight. BOth are fed twice per day. The three year old now weighs 12.8 kg, but back in November wieghed 10.8 kg. The 1 1/2 year old has a smaller frame and weighs 8.8 kg. In an xray I can see that the older dog has a layer of fat. What can I do to help her lose weight.
