My dog is a rat terrier who is 7 months old. I've had him for almost 1 month. 17 days ago I noticed he had small white worms in his stool. I took him to the vet and brought a stool sample on return to the vet after the stool was examined he was given medicine that is in aplastic needle that I administer in the corner of his mouth which he eats up because it is flavored. This was Feb 2nd. I still notice the worms in his stool especially over the last 3-4 days. His last medication is to be given Feb. 16th. 10 minutes ago he was sitting on my lap and I had shorts on I saw what looked like a small piece of mucus on my thigh, but when I looked it was one of those worms. I am very freaked out for myself and my dog. Please tell me if I am right to be scared. Iam afraid to sleep in my bed now and have put him in his crate. Please help. The vets recipt doesn't tell me what kind of worms these are. I will wait for your possible diagnosis of what I should do with him and myself.
