Our 3 pound, 6 month old toy Rat Terrier was lost and turned into the county animal control kennel. We found her there and brought her home. This was two weeks ago. Since then, she has been progressively developing a sort of "throaty" cough. Could this be the "kennel cough" we have heard mentioned? If so, is this treatable? We hear conflicting information concerning this topic.
