i have a one year old yorkie terrier, about 6 pounds, who is very energetic and happy. but he will occasionally have bouts of coughing and wheezing. it sounds something like asthsma or allergies. is there such a thing first of all for dogs? and second is this a serious problem that needs attention, or will he out grow it or something. i live in louisiana, and he is on flea meds. he doesn't seem to be getting bits or anything, just me when i'm walking him! thanks for any help.
