My 13 yr old terrier mix dog fell down my carpeted steps ...

My 13 yr old terrier mix dog fell down my carpeted steps today; one of her teeth came out, but otherwise, she seems OK except that she's shaking & is occasionally moving her head in an awkward position......almost stretching it; are there any other signs I should be watching for? She's so frightened at the vet's office that I hesitate to take her there for fear of upsetting her even more;
